Illinois State Militia (Unorganized)Who fills our ranks?
We are men and women from the central counties of Illinois. We saw a need to band together to train and prepare for any situation that may occur such as any natural or man-made disasters.
We also train to respond for another large scale attack such as like what happened on 9-11-01, "it's not IF another 9/11 happens, it's WHEN it does happen."
We have members from all walk of life. Those members who fill our ranks include Teachers, Medical Personnel who have been trained from the First Responder Level and National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians to Registered Nurses, College Students, Ex-Military, Security and Loss Prevention Specialist. We also have several Lawyers who advise us on current state and federal statutes which may affect us, but cannot actively participate due to repercussions their affiliation with us may bring upon them in their professional lives.
Our Beliefs
We believe in a Higher Power who gave us those rights that you will find in the Constitution of the United States of America.
We don't believe the United States Constitution is a "Living Document"---Meaning it can only be changed by a 3/4 vote of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives, Not Activist Judges, and Certainly not anyone who believes that U.S. Law should be modeled after the United Nations.
Though most of us our of the Christian Faith, we respect all religions, unless they are founded upon Facisim, Communism, or Radical Extremism.
We believe that all humans too include those unborn have certain rights, which were "endowed by our creator" Such as the Right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
